hello, i thought i'd give this website a try, since a year of dieting didn't work i'm young, and about 20 pounds overweight. i've decided this is the time to get serious. i found out that i was only eating 600 calories a day, bc i was never hungry, so i didn't eat! i'm now eating 1200 calories a day, though it's mostly canned vegetables, yogurt, and applesauce over the past 3 months, I've lost 4 pounds. any suggestions or advice? thanks

FRESH Vegetables and fruits are so much better than canned! Canned can have a lot of added sugar/salt to help preserve food and that results in bloat weight, which feels gross and effects the scale.0

I agree with Char, try to stay away from canned it has so much sodium in it, buy bags of frozen veggies and make lots of stir frys! Also- try frozen fruit for smoothies, they are so good!0

thanks i do buy "no sodium added" and "no added sugar" whenever possible, but it's not the best.. my parents arent too thrilled with my quest for better health, and most of the time i can't help what food they buy. oh, and i walk about 40 minutes at 3.5 mph almost every day0
