A silly question...

I went just a tiny bit overboard at the office Thanksgiving luncheon today...I wasn't miserabley stuffed, but I know I had a bit too many calories. So now I'm drinking tons of water trying to flush some calories/speed metabolism. Will drinking tons of water help? Or am I just dreaming?

I think I'm dreaming...If all you had to do was drink a lot of water to offset a big meal, well everyone would be thin...Right? I mean, how easy is it to drink water?

Oh well...I'm drinking up!

And hitting the gym EXTRA hard tonight!

It's nasty, but do a shot of apple cider vinegar too to rid your body of the extra sodium. :flowerforyou:

I mix apple cider vinegar with cranberry juice to help with the taste. (since cranberry juice is already tart, I am not too thrown off by the taste) :drinker:

I'll dillute it with water then chase it with a even larger glass of water.

being over by a few (or a few hundred) calories once in awhile won't prevent weight loss. Just go for a workout and then relax, it's not like you do it everyday :flowerforyou:

But to answer your question, MK....no, drinking water won't flush anything away. But don't fret, tomorrow is a new day.:drinker:

Hmm, will have to try that apple cider trick next time I have too much sodium! WOO!

And yes MK......just relax. These things will happen and it's ok to have meals like this once in awhile. It wasn't one meal that made you put on weight right????

I would never...and I repeat NEVER...ruin perfectly good stuffing with icky, nasty apple cider vinegar. That would be an atrocity.

apple cider vinegar or stuffing? Maybe if you stuffed the stuffing in your bra. You might attract alot of attention (and stray dogs) that way.
