does the same cardio every day still count?

I don't like exercise for exercise's sake, but I am lucky enough to be able to commute by bike - about 8 miles/day at average speed of 12 mph on flat ground with a fixed gear bike. According to the computer, that burns 400 calories/day, but should I really count that against my food since it's just part of my daily routine?

That depends on whether or not you used that in making your decision on what "lifestyle" you chose when you set up your profile. Did you choose sedentary? If yes, then I would definitely add the bike ride.0
