I am 57lbs over my goal weight and I am ready to lose it! Most of this is pregnancy weight because I gained about 25-30 lbs with each pregnancy..I only have 2 children. I would love to lose the weight, tone up and stay in shape. The problem is I have NO idea how and where to start! I can't eat breakfast without FORCING myself. I am just not hungry in the mornings..I can go HOURS on just a cup of coffee and I know that's not healthy. I am just looking for diet advice and exercise tips. I love fast paced work outs that is fun but works out every part of the body. I have tried the p90x and it's not for me. Any suggestions and advice would be great! Thanks!

kep, 30 day shred is a good choice, and so is anything cardio that can raise your heart rate, like walking, running, swimming, cycling etc. try and vary your activities to keep your body 'guessing'. also, try and eat sensibly and DRINK LOTS of water :-) your target is very achievable.
good luck!0 -
Hey. Best of luck with your journey. Write on forums and make friends on here (feel free to add me!) I have Just over 60 left to lose so we're not too different! Having the enouragement from others is what makes this site so brilliant! really try and get into exercise. But only do what you enjoy otherwise you wont continue with it!0

I do zumba and just started the 30 Day Shred...I love both. You will definitely feel the burn in 30DS.0

Welcome! This is a great site to find support and ideas for your weight loss goals. If you're just starting out, I'd suggest walking...it's easy and you can go at your own pace and gradually build up your endurance. I try and walk every day for about 3-4 miles. I also like to do Leslie Sansone's walking DVD's in the rainy/cold weather. She has a variety of walking DVD's ranging in 1-5 miles w/ various workouts that are easy and effective. I've lost a lot of inches w/ her workout. I've been using Jillian Michael's 30 day shred too and it's difficult but I"m really feeling a difference in my clothes now. You're on the right track now so just start tracking your food and exercise and you'll start seeing a big difference soon. I try and eat 3 meals and 2 snacks and drink up to 64 oz. water per day. Watch your sugar and sodium intake and increase your protein which helps w/ weight loss results. Good luck! I'll add you as a friend for support. I have 3 kids and I'm still trying to lose the weight!0

breakfast is key, both to health and weight loss. start small, like a handful of grapes, a yogurt, or some toast. then build up to a small healthy breakfast. i know how you feel, i am not hungry in the mornings either. well, i wasn't before. i just started making myself some breakfast, and eating it, no matter what. now i have so much more energy and alertness, and am much more able to make smart choices for the rest of the day, because i'm not starving and my body isn't fighting to get the calories it needs. good luck, and smart choices!0

Zumba is a fun fast workout. But you really need to start eating your three meals and two snacks to get your metabolism going again!! It doesn't have to be a huge breakfast...even a yogurt or piece of fruit is better than nothing. Good luck with your journey. Feel free to add me if you like.0
