I recently used a calorie counter with a heart monitor for my job (which is about 3-5 hours a day 5 days a week of lifting garbage) I burned 2400+ calories in 4 hours. Would I be considered active or very active? Also MFP recommends my calories of 2100 per day to lose 1.5 lbs a week...Is this enough calories???

I would think that this would consider you "active". Depending on your activity level outside of work would dictate if you are "very active". As far as if the 2100 a day is sufficient calories. Any where you look the body needs 1200 calories minimum to sustain your metabolism. So you are ok with the 2100.0
