To get motivated at home is the HARDEST thing. When you have a visable couch and munchies around the corner it's hard to resist and actually get moving. I reccomend going outside or to a gym to get motivated. That's just my personal experience though! I work 100% harder when people might be watching0

The one I started with is Jillian Michael's 30 day shred. It's tough, but has three levels and the first one is easier (note how I didn't say easy!) The idea is you move up a level every 10 days, but if you may want to hold back. I personally found it amazing and was astounded by the results. Jillian is also awesome. I love her and her style. It's most certainly a challenge, but I started doing it when I had no experience before and did okay. Your strength and stamina build up remarkably fast as does the change in your physique!
I loved it and now have several other DVDs from Jillian Michaels. I can't recommend her enough if your looking for results and don't mind a bit of hard work.0 -
I've always been a fan of Davina McCall, especially the Three 30 Minute Work Outs one. Easy to fit into your day and isn't too strenuous for beginners.0

The only thing that works for me is to get out of the house...What's your passion? Do you like to dance? Dance. Do you like to walk? Walk. Do you like sports? Play sports... Try to find things to do that aren't ACTUAL exercise, and then gradually turn it in to exercise.
I find that once you start moving, then it starts to feel good and you kind of crave it...but exercise sucks, so choose fun activities.
I love to dance, rollerskate, swim, bowl, walk, play volleyball, play with the kids, be silly with your friends. I try to think back to when I was a kid...NO WONDER I WAS SO SKINNY! LOL I was super active! hehe
You can do it...Set your life up to keep you motivated. Maybe get a friend to commit with you, but it's better to get a friend that is gonna push you, instead of you dragging them, cause you gotta build up first. LoL I learned that the hard way. haha
Good luck!0 -
Netflix has tons of workout videos to watch instantly. I have about 15 that I use, some are dance ones or cardio and kick boxing, some are weigh and strength training. It's a good mix.0

Wii Fit is fun!
If you have cable there should be some sort of on demand and most of them have exercise routines on it.Good Luck !!

Well I don't have wii game system, also I don't have a car right the moment cause my husband uses it to go to work. I am a stay at home mom at the moment. I like to go walking, dance, & also I have tried the wii fit game before at a friends. I liked it I was having so much fun with it, and I wasn't really thinking I am working out just playing a game. I am also thinking about getting a treadmill has soon after me, and my family move which is about in 2 weeks or so but anyways I heard about the beachbody DVD's are they any good?? I have been told they are.0

Have you tried Couch 2 5K...what about your friends, is there a sport you like to play? As for me I love tennis and I get out once a week to play with a friend, sometimes twice. It's really helpful finding something you enjoy doing.0

It's an app that helps you run 5miles. You start out walking for so long then you run then you walk then you run. It has a timer and it beeps to let you know when to run and when to walk
I have a BB dvd, I haven't done it in forever though.0
