I'd like to get an HRM watch without the chest strap. Any suggestions on the best one to get?

Agreed.. Chest strap is needed for an accurate estimation of calories burned.

Polar is the most recommended around here.. its what I have, and I love it.

@dad106 - thanks, have you ever tried the Polar sports bras that have the embedded strap? Just wondering if they work and if they're more comfortable than the regular strap?

No I haven't, but honestly the regular strap is just like wearing a bra. The polar straps are fabric and very flexible, so you hardly notice them.
