Thought I'd share this...maybe someone else can use these to help you stay on track. :o) I know I can use all of the strategies and tips I can get my hands on!

Ten things to ask myself when the going gets tough:
Food
• Is eating this really worth the calories?
• Do I really want this more than I want to lose the weight?
• Do I really want to start over again?
• Is eating this satisfying my hunger, or is it only a craving for junk food?
• What are you willing to say no to in order to reach your goals?
• Is this really worth undoing all of the progress you’ve made thus far?
Fitness
• When will I ever really feel like working out?
• Is the focus on the workout session, or the results of the session?
• How much time in this 24-hour day is this workout really taking up?
• Will I feel better or worse about myself after working out?

I ask myself a lot of those. My usual one when it comes to working out is "What would I REALLY be doing if I wasn't here?" Often the answer is nothing, just sitting on the couch.

Great post. Thanks!!! I find myself asking a few of those questions on the food. I will print out the list for quick reference. I don't usually have problems with the exercise part.. I prefer to do it first thing and get it out of the way. Until recently I was actually overdoing on the exercise.
