Injinji Toe Socks for Runners?

Anyone ever tried the Injinji toe socks for running? I've heard SO many good things about them. In the Alabama heat, I'm starting to get blisters worse than usual. I have a great pair of Adidas running shoes, but as with any other shoe I've tried, I get a blister on the outside of my 4th toe, where it rubs against the nail of my pinkie toe. I guess it's just the way my feet or shaped (... or deformed thanks to 10 years and counting of high heel obsession...), but apparently these socks are a God send for that. I've never seen them in stores, so I ordered a pair from Amazon (I have free 2-days shipping, so I got a good deal). They should be here before the 5K I'm running on Friday. Looking forward to trying them out, but I was interested to hear any of y'all's experiences.

If you don't get to try them on and run on them before the 5k, I'd recommend not using them. You really shouldn't try anything new on race day.

I am actually going to buy a pair this week because I've been getting more blisters than usual. My husband uses them and he loves them!

I have a couple pairs that I wear in VFF's.
But I have worn them in regular shoes with great comfort. Including a 15 mile trail race with water crossings and did not get a single blister. I plan to get a few more pairs to wear as my normal running socks.

I hope the socks help with your blisters!!!!

Try to get in a practice run or 2 with the new socks.... I wouldn't try something new on race day that might either not work out well for you or might play mental games with your head.

    Good luck with the race!!!!

I have a couple pair and I like them but usually feel better without socks -- personal preference.
Either way, if you start with the socks you have to train your feet again ..so I wouldn't wear them for the first time on something important!

Funny - I got mine as a freebie a couple years ago when I ordered my FF... that's the one shoe I can't wear them with.

I like them though for other shoes.

Oh, no, I wouldn't be wearing them on race day. I was actually just telling my husband earlier than I wish I would've ordered them a couple weeks ago so I COULD wear them. The fact that this 5K is at midnight is enough of a "new" experience for me to risk trying anything else for the first time.

I bought some 5 or 6 years ago (before VFFs were invented). My toes are too jacked up (uneven) to wear them. I tried some runs in them (as they are supposed to great for blister prevention) but they just don't fit me right.
