Mine is 3 cups water boiling add and cook about 20 mins-simmer. Then just add something yummy. My usual is a 1/2 tbs of brown sugar. Are you looking for how to make it or stuff to add?0

1 cup steel cut oats+4-5 cups water
I do mine in a water bath in the crock pot. crumple some foil put in the bottom of crockpot, place a bowl large enough to hold ingredients and fill crock with water about half way. Put ing in bowl and cook on low overnight.
I found that if I didn't do the water bath, they burned and stuck to bottom.0 -

I use the crockpot. I mix 8 cups of water and 2 cups of oats in crockpot. I cook them on low for 8 hours, usually turn it on at 10 pm and then when I wake up in the morning I have freshly cooked oats. You can put dried fruits and other tasty items in it too. I add cinnamon to mine. It makes about 8 cups of oats, so I make it once a week and them for breakfast. They are so hardy and yummy! Enjoy!0
