I am starting this support group for people who are addicted to weighing themselves more than twice a day.

I personally struggled with this addiction and had stopped for a few months, but recently I picked up this habit again.

We can use this thread to help support and encourage each other to kick this habit!

Hello, my name is _______ and I am addicted to weighing myself.
I weigh myself at least _____ times a day. I weigh myself constantly because ___________.

Weight loss isn't just about a number on the scale, but about a life style change to become a healthier and better YOU!

Hello, my name is M and I am addicted to weighing myself.
I weigh myself at least 6 times a day. I weigh myself constantly because I want to make sure that I am not gaining weight. I kicked this habit once, but I have found myself addicted again.

I would totally have this addiction if I owned a scale. Why don't you let someone hold onto your scale for a while? I weigh myself once every couple weeks at Publix. My laziness keeps me from running there every day, not to mention my shyness. I always wait until there's no one behind me who might see my weight and think/say something.

That's a good idea! I gave my boyfriend my scale and told him to keep it and don't let me weigh myself until my official weigh-in days, Sundays.

I weigh myself at least 3 times a day. I weigh myself constantly because I like to feel like I've made some progress, and know if I've gained anything so I can correct it straight away.
