Does it just frustrate anybody else as much as me when you go to a restaurant and they have no idea about the nutritional information for their own food they are serving? I live in Indiana and from what I have heard the law is requiring restaurants to have this available to their customers by November. Thank God for that! It makes it easier on me to choose b/c I look at the calories, fat, protein, sugar, and sodium. Anyway, just wanted to see what everybody else thought.

Furthermore, sometimes its virtually impossible to find that information online just doing a random search for some places... bummer. :grumble:

Yea, it does frustrate me. I really like TGI Fridays and Buffalo Wild Wings but neither one has their nutritional information available. You can do a search on here it, but since you can't confirm it, how do you know its actually true?

I agree 100%! I think at the very LEAST, all nutritional info shoud be available online. When I go out to a place that doesnt list their calories, I do my best to make educated choices and then try to log it into MFP as close as possible. I'd rather be a little over than under.

i totally agree! i live in nyc where all restaurants with a certain number of locations (i think 3) are required by law to have calorie counts posted but some make it impossible to find or only have it for certain foods. it drives me nuts! the biggest thing i noticed when they started this was that at to-go type lunch places they tell you the serving size it's for but not how much they give you - i dont want to look like a nut case with a food scale on my desk!
