Uh!!!! I'm SOOOO frustrated right now. I have been running and excersing and I'm GAINING weight! I have gained 10 pounds in 3 months. I'm to the point where I don't even want to care anymore, but I do. I was down 50 pounds 3 months ago and now I'm only down 40. I have just taken up running and have been at it for about a month. I have been riding my bike on days I haven't been running and being careful to watch what I eat. I just don't know what to do anymore and just want to give up, but that is not an option for me right now. I just need to get over this hurdle but right it just seems impossible!!

Are you drinking enough water? How many calories are you eating a day? What do your calories consist of? Do you weigh everyday?

Those are the questions you need to be asking yourself.

I weigh everyday because if I eat something that my body doesn't like it will show on the scale the next morning.

Don't give up. Just take a breath and step back and look at all the data you have plugged into MFP.

are you eating ENOUGH? When I was at a standstill, I upped my calories by 200/day and I started losing weight again

I wrote this a few months ago, and it might help. Sometimes a plateau can turn into a period of weight gain if you're not eating enough to fuel your cardio, or if you're not including strength training.

If you really feel like you are doing what your are supposed to. Maybe you should get your doctor to check you out.

We can't help unless we can see your diary.

Some times when you worry to much about the number, it can show weight gain i found. try not to worry about how much you are losing but how fit you are getting. This is what i did before i got pregnant again, i lost 20 pounds when i stop looking at the number and just started to enjoy working out and getting fit. I actually had to tell myself this again after having my son, and i started to stress about the number again.
    Good Luck!

Went to check out your diary... its private so cant really give advice. But my first thought is its "diet" related. Sometimes we THINK were eating right but there are things like sodium and sugar to watch, upping calories if needed, eating empty calories, or changing the settings of carbs, protein, and fat... just a few things to keep in mind:) Good luck!
