Insantiy and South Beach

I have been doing Insanity fairly regularly, about 5 times p/week. I cant follow the diet plan because I'm a vegetarian. I have been following a South Beach Diet mentality (no carbs, no sugar) but I'm worried I'm not getting enough protein, any suggestions?

    What kind of vegetarian are you? There are lots of good options for protein out there that aren't meat.

    Try incorporating mushrooms, beans, and nuts to your diet. You can incorporate them in recipes or just snack on them. :)

    If you can have dairy products and eggs, those are great ways to get in protein too.
  • I eat cheese and eggs, not to much other dairy though. I try to do a lot of black beans, lentils, nuts. I'm just hoping this is going to be enough because with Insanity, I seem to burn soo much!

    HAve you picked up any protien powder? I use whey it is a by-product of cheese apparently. You can mix it with lots of stuff. :)
