Depends on what you're eating. Try reduced sodium versions of food, and don't add salt to your food. Try using Mrs. Dash and other spices/seasonings to replace salt. If you need to add some, use cracked sea salt sparingly.0

Cut down on processed foods, they are loaded with it. Make as much of your own food as you can and don't add salt or salty things to it.0

I totally agree. When I stopped buying prepackaged foods I reduced my sodium significantly. I saw a lot of water weight loss after that.0

Try not to eat processed and restaurant foods, sodium is very high. If you eat clean, fruits, vegetables, lean meats, beans you will notice your sodium levels go way down. Sodium is the one thing that I really pay attention to because any time I go over the scale goes up due to retained water.0

Use pepper, rosemary, and other seasonings when cooking. You can still have great taste without a lot of salt. Switch from bouillion to stock, when it comes to making soups and broths. Stock (beef, chicken, vegetable) can be bought at local grocery stores or can be made from leftover meat.
Avoid processed foods. Those little frozen dinners and cans of soup have enough salt in them to last all day.
If you like salting your food, put a piece of tape inside of the salt shaker so that only a few holes remain open. Then you feel like you are putting salt all over the food, but the amount you actually place is reduced.0
