I decided to try a new program after 3 years of WW. I have lost about 60 pounds and could not reach my goal. I am ready to lose!

I was there for 2 years, lost consistently, then the program changed and I gained. So here I am, MFP has been fantastic, and I don't have to pay for it. Welcome!

Paying money per pound lost? Right?

No way! Besides, not into that group thing anyway.

I heard a lot of people who were doing WW ended up gaining weight....it was strange...I lost 50lbs doing it....I wonder why???

I canceled my WW last week in an attempt to reach goal finally too.

I was doing a comparison for two weeks and it worked out that after taking the MFP totals, I was eating about 40pts worth of food/day - which of course counted fruit, AP eaten and factors in a few weeklies.
  • I tried WW twice in the past few years, and failed miserably both times. Thank goodness I found MFP!

Each time I tried WW I lost about 5 lbs and got really excited, then I didn't lose anymore. It was very discouraging!! But I love MFP, it is great!
