Elliptical question?

Does anyone else's toes go numb on the elliptical? I could probably go so much longer on the elliptical if it weren't for my toes going numb. It scares me and not sure thats a good thing to happen but it does and if I knew anything that I could to do to make the numbing not happen I would. I have tried making sure I am pressing with my heels, move my toes as much as I can while on the elliptical and used different shoes. IDK!!

Mine did to! They went numb in my Asics within about 15 minutes, but when I wear my Nikes I can go 45 minutes and they feel just fine!0

Mine go numb as well. I just move my feet around, and usually it goes away after a few minutes, especially if I really get my blood flowing.
You might try to take a look at your posture and see if you are really bent over or backward, and try straightening it out.0 -
I know someone who calls it the 'tinglyfootmakingmachine'. Yeah, it's really common. Don't worry about it.0

I have tried moving my feet around but it doesn't work for me. I may try the posture thing cause sometimes I get lazy. Glad to know this is normal sort of. It bothers me sooo much!!0

I get that really bad too, when it gets to be too much I get off and walk around and shake my feet for a minute until the blood starts flowing again. Good luck!0

Mine always went numb until i found a great way to stop it. Unfortunately it involves a technique that makes me look like a toddler learning to walk and really shouldn't be attempted in public. (luckily my elliptical is at home) About every 4 or 5 minutes Instead of keeping my feet on the peddles all the time, during the forward motion I lift my foot off of the peddle, lift my knee up in a big arch then set it down on the peddle just before it starts to go backwards again followed by the same on the other foot. It does a great job of getting the blood flowing again, kind of like getting off and walking around, but without the getting off part.0
