Substituting Exercises

How would you log hill repeats? I haven't got a HRM yet so I really don't know an accurate amount. I could substitute stairs? Those two choices would be running up stairs, and stair-treadmill ergometer. Any suggestions?

    I'd love to know as well. For now I just set up my own estimation for sprint training days.
