P90X not for the Obese?

I heard that you shouldn't even try it if your over 200lbs...is this right?

i was 207 when i started. It is hard to do with a gut, but Tony says do what you can.0

It's probably best to start with "Power 90", which is actually the original version of P90X. It's not as intense and has no pull-ups. You can check it out on Amazon. Chad has a video in the review section that explains the differences well:

I think you just need to have some level of decent fitness and cardivascular health. I started when I was approx 180lbs and I found it quite hard, but I think it depends on how fit you feel you are and can't soley base it on weight. Do you think you could do an hour of pushup and chinups? Could you jump around and do squats for an hour?
I say give it a try and if you find it too hard you will know and you can try it again at a later time.0
