Sodium Intake

So every web page i have found says that the maximum Sodium intake should be 2,300mg, but my profile goal is listed at 2,500mg. I am wondering why it would be listed higher? I am guessing because of my height, weight, etc. Still if the max is 2,300 shouldn't my profile cap out at 2,300?

It has nothing to do with your height or weight. Different sources suggest different numbers, is all. You can definitely change your goal to 2,300 (or even lower . . . I shoot for <1800).0

I try to stay around 1500-1800. Which I think 1500 is the new max for daily sodium.0

I also have heard the 1500 mg recommendation. I rarely achieve it, however.0

you know you can change it to make it whatever you feel it should be0
