This is a follow-up to my last post on strapless HRMs. Thanks to everyone's input I will definitely be getting one with a chest strap!

Now, being on a budget, I was wondering if anyone had a Pyle HRM? Some I have found on Amazon that I am considering:

http://www.amazon.com/Pyle-Sports-PHRM38-Monitor-Walking/dp/B004RQWYDO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1312999482&sr=8-1

http://www.amazon.com/Super-Quality-Waterproof-Monitor-Transmitter/dp/B004GYUHFY/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1312999642&sr=8-18

http://www.amazon.com/Pyle-Sports-PHRM32-Advanced-Running/dp/B004RQWXW6/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1312999719&sr=8-4

Please let me know if you have experience with this brand at all (or any of these models)--or if you found something reasonably price that you LOVE--let me know! I want to make sure it displays calories burned. . . .

Thanks!
Sharon

I really recommend spending a bit more and getting a Polar. You can get an F4 (version before FT4) on Amazon for about $50. I haven't tried Pyle but have used other brands, Sportsline and Timex. Both only lasted a year at best. My Polar F6 (version before FT7) has been through the wringer for 6 or 7 years and all I've done is change the battery. Well worth the money.

I've never even heard of Pyle, so I personally would say no.

Most recommended around here is Polar.. I have the FT7 and I love it.

You really don't want to go super cheap.. Ideally 60-100 dollars is a good range to spend on an HRM. You can spend more/less but you get what you pay for with an HRM and most times you wind up paying twice to buy the HRM you should have bought in the first place.
