I am new here. I used to keep a food log half heartadly, on paper or at Fitday. This site is easier than fit day. I won't waste time writing about that. I have a brain tumor but otherwise am healthy. I have been on chemotherapy and radiation but I feel fine but like a total slug right now. I use food to feel good, keep me occupied when I am bored. I stay home a lot with the kids so the house does get old. I hate to say it but it will be god when they go back. My. Brother in law says I have an eating disorder. He says our whole family does as we all eat a lot. I have lifted weights, done some cardio, and performed what is known as HIIT, Check into that word it is eye opening. The thing is I used to be a personal trainer and have a BS in PE. I have gained weight over the last 4-5 yrs and am stagnant or going up. All I think about is my body, how clothes feel and how my body feels. I want to be able to record exactly what I eat without looking everything up like Fitday. If you typed in hamburger on Fitdy you had to find what you wanted out of 100 choices. I see here it is so streamlined. I kind of am excited to have found this site. I will keep you all posted. I hope it is all good news. My downfall is portion size and eating at night. Thanks!

Welcome! One of the best thing about getting off my butt and sticking to a life-changing program is that I'm no longer thinking constantly about my body, how I feel, and how I look in clothes (and hurling little insults at myself). Although I spend a lot of time working out (and actually loving it now!) it leaves a lot of health space in my brain for other pursuits. Good luck!0
