Ok, so I bought a dress for my wedding that is too small for me!!!! It was a great deal, couldn't pass it up. Any ways I need to know how much weight i will need to lose in order to fit it properly.

I'm considered an athletic build, 5' 10" tall, 216lbs, size 14-16 and need to fit into a size 12. Anyone the same height as me and fit a size 12? What do you weigh?

I had a set back in my weight loss but am ready to gear up and take it off again, so not worried about the work involved but I'm definately setting my goals a little high, I'm getting married in November!

If all else fails, my back up is to change it to a lace up back with added material.

  • I think you can do it. I have a friend who is your height and is a 12 and I believe she weighs 185. You might have a smaller waist because she tends to carry around her middle, but I think you can do it!

I don't know what 5'10" and a size 12 looks like, but body composition plays a big roll. Just keep working on it! However, I would change the back of dress to a lace up just so you won't be worrying about it. Better to have the back change and not really need it than to stress about fitting into your dress for the next 4 months.
  • I'm 5'10". Is it a size 12 in wedding dress speak or a street size 12? Dresses can run a little differently. I wear a 14/16 street. Push the cardio. November is aways off. You may be able to do it, or at least get close. so, be safe, run your butt off, drink lots of water, and eat a healthy full diet.
