Same Proteins???

Anyone have any comments on whether its okay to eat the same big protein for lunch and dinner?

I had some chicken thawed yesterday so I made me some little grilled chicken bites (4 oz)and I ate that for dinner yesterday, ate the leftovers for lunch (4oz again).. The other chicken breast I marinated in some apple cider vinegar and cooked in a pan with a little EVOO (about 3 oz, I made 2 big chicken breasts but the family also ate some too.. not complaining because it was better than a frozen pizza or chili dogs.. LOL

I know its not a great variation but its all I had. We need to go to the grocery store... badly!!

    I eat a lot of the same proteins. If that's a problem, then the weight I'm losing isn't from eating right. :-/ You do what you can and work with it. I sometimes marinate my chicken with barbeque sauce or use spicy mustard as a dipping sauce. If you like fried chicken, you should try some fiber one cereal as the flakes and use egg whites for the dipping.

    I eat chicken for both lunch and dinner almost every day and I've done great so far, so I'm pretty sure it's ok :)

    I had someone at work say to me...how many chickens have you eaten? LOL, I eat chicken almost everyday.

    That's hysterical!!! I like chicken but I am weird because I don't eat it off a bone!!!LoL but its good I can find it to accommodate me then I can cook it however I want!!

    I sometimes wonder if I will start growing feathers. Either the 1lb of chicken I eat daily or the dozen eggs? Not all whole eggs about.6 whole 6 whites but still. I've done this for a long long time and still have no feathers. I can't imagine the number of chickens I've eaten. Good thing they reproduce fast. Anyway the answer to your question is yes its fine. Just make sure your gettin protein from other sources on the regular as well and you will be fine. Someday just to make it easier I eat the same meal for 5 out of 7 meals. As long as its balanced there is no problem.

    I could no function without meat. (that's what she said) Hahaha sorry but really I have some form of meat poultry or fish in every one of my meals. More power to you though . Just not for me.
