Stabilizing Body Weight

I have been on mpf for about 2 years now. In the beginning, I wanted to lose only about 10 pounds, and I ended up losing close to 20, which was self-admittingly too much for my small frame. The weight did come off in a timely manner however, with a little less than a pound per week. After gaining a about 8 pounds back, I attempted to maintain my body weight. After this, my weight continued to creep back up (keeping the same eating habits and workouts once the goal weight was reached) I then increased my work outs from 45 min. to an hour, and saw no results. Now I am back down the cutting the calories I used to lose the weight in the first place and my weight is STILL going up! :noway: (This is NOT due to muscle mass, because my clothes are definitely getting tighter.) I am almost to the weight I started at 2 years ago! What's the deal?!

Here's more details about myself: I'm 5 foot 2 and have a petite frame. As a gymnast and dancer, I was on the thicker side at 118lbs. I wanted to get down to 108, and ended up dropping to 100. I quickly went back to 108 after increasing caloric intake from 1300 to 1550 or so. Now I'm back to 117 and taking in 1300 calories a day. I have slight hypothyroidism and take synthroid due to that.

Is it possible that dropping the initial weight killed my metabolism??

WHY CAN'T I STABILIZE MY WEIGHT?!?!?!:grumble:

If you dont mind sharing, how many net calories where you eating when you lost the weight? Getting down to 100lbs has to be difficult

    I was at 1200 net calories before, eating about 1500 with a 300 calorie-burning work-out.
