I ran across this, and I downloaded the exel calculator, and it is pretty specific. It told me to eat around 3800 calories a day to max out my metabolism at 133%... my be true with all the workouts I am doing.

Let me know what you guys think of it! =]

    this is actually pretty close for me if i compare it to my bodymedia. also. i love that i burn like 30 more calories for being italian? lol i wonder why that is?

    If I did this right, it tells me my maintenance is 2178. My own estimate is 2250.. only off by 72. I'm somewhere in that ballpark.

    Something seems way off for it to tell you 3800. Are you Italian by chance?

    i run 60 miles a week because I run cross country for college... on top of doing stregnth and other cardio multiple times a week. I have a super active lifestyle. so i would not doubt it actually. i've been eating 3000 for the past week and feeling pretty good. lol my coach tells us to eat at least 3000 a day, but i never really know if that's right!
