First I want to say how much I admire each and every one of you! You have all made a choice to get healthy and you have allowed me to join you on your journey! So thank you. Today’s challenge will be physical as well as taking into account our mental health!
50 Squats -- make sure knees do not go past toes, then while still squatted, lift up your heals so that you are on your toes, stand straight up on your toes, relax back to 1st position.
15 Lunges –
25 Squat jumps – when you get into squat position jump w/ your hands up above your head
25 Arm curls up – water bottle or weights – starting position arms straight down – curl up!
20 Bridge Span (that’s what they call it at PT) – lay on your back w/ knees bent. Raise up (get that butt off that ground!) open
knees – hold 5 seconds – release.
15 Lunges –
50 Bike crunches
25 Arm extensions – bench those water bottles– weights – starting position is arms bent with hands at shoulder – raise
above your head – release
Meditate 15 minutes – silly? No! Relaxing? Clearing your mind? Ou r mental well-being is a big factor in our overall health!
Do not drink and soda today – any sugar drinks today – limit your caffeine to just 1 cup
Drink 16oz water first thing in morning / last thing at night
Look in the mirror and tell yourself that you are beautiful, smart, intelligent and that you deserve to be healthy, happy and fit.
Go to bed at a time to allow you to sleep for at least 8 hours – but no more than 10 (that can be counter productive!)
