Weigh In Chuckle - Trust me, worth the 2 minutes

So....

Monday and Thursdays are my weigh in days. (Yes, I do it twice a week. They are on either end of the weekend to help me stay motivated on my weakest will-power days!)

Anyway, back to my story...

I hop out of the shower, towel off, and jump on the scale like every other weigh in. WHAT? I've gone up three pounds? How did that happen? I was so good this week. Sigh...

About that time I looked down again. Maybe my eyes just weren't focusing this early. But wait... why is there a wagging tail between my feet? My curious puppy had decided to hop on the scale and see what Mom was doing. So helpful! LOL

Once I got her OFF the scale, I was down two pounds.

YEAH!!!

Excellent! Wish I could blame a puppy...mine is the fault of the cake sticking to my hips!

LOL! That happened to me a couple of weeks ago with my fat cat! My scale was up 10 lbs!! I said outloud, what the f***! And then heard her meow in response, there she was standing between my feet! Scared me to death!! LOL

Agreed; my dog is around 56, but I think I would notice if she tried to get on the scale with me, lol

But you weigh AFTER the shower? Wouldn't your hair being wet weigh you down a little?

You're right, it was worth the read. Thanks for the chuckle. My dogs try to get on the treadmill with me sometimes and my beagle absolutely KNOWS that when I put my sneakers on WE ARE GOING FOR A WALK!! Pets are a God given blessing :)
