When I feel PMS starting I go out and load up on the best sweet tasting food - fruits! I'm talking strawberries, blueberries, grapes ... that said ... I usually do not come out unscathed.
My nemesis is chips / dip (gotta have the salt) or jalapeno poppers! Don't forget the pizza and wings that I can take down in one night! .... wait I am supposed to be helping... sorry....
Honestly though I allow myself the moderation because if I can satisfy the small cravings ... I won't binge when it grows!0 -
I would suggest tracking when your period is due and make sure your pantry is full of foods allowed on your diet. There's nothing wrong with having weaknesses. Just be aware of them and take steps to help the situation. If there are certain trigger foods, try not having them in the house those few days. And tracking your food anyway can help. Seeing those numbers in the food diary might help you put down the chips or cookies. I pre-log my whole day in the morning with what I plan to eat, so I can make sure everything fits in.0

There is one day out of the month that I totally BINGE for "Aunt Flow's Visit" - love it!!!! I know this doesn't (or won't) work for everyone. Once I get all of the sweet, salty & spicy cravings out of my system, I am good to go. This will always happen in the late afternoon & by the next morning I am disciplined again. Don't fight it too much!0

I am the same way so I just didn't buy any of the "bad" stuff. I have found that if I don't have it in the house then I won't eat it. It works for me because I have 3 year old twin boys that don't do well in stores so I won't just run out and get it. One day isn't going to hurt though. It's not a bad idea to go over your calories 1-2 times a month so your body doesn't grow stagnant with the limited calories.0
