I was under the assumption that when you eat healthier and exercise, you gain more energy. I'm a mother of a 17 month old little girl who is a powerhouse of energy. This means I'm chasing her around a lot, waking up very early. I wasn't feeling as tired when I wasn't exercising or watching what I was eating. However, now I'm struggling a lot with fatigue. I keep close to my calorie limit. I eat my work out calories to ensure my body doesn't lack nutrients or go into "starving" mode. I think one thing I know I can improve on as far as healthy eating goes, is drinking more water. Other then that, I'm not really sure what's going on.
I'm 10 days into my lifestyle change. Did/does anyone have this issue as well? Any suggestions on how to beat the tired and feel more energetic? Any help would be appreciated. Luckily I'm still working out, but it is getting harder every day to do it when I feel so tired.
Thank you and good luck to everyone on their health goals!

Omg! I know what you mean! I am just finishing my 3rd week of dieting, and for the past two days, all I wana do is sleep. Did you find out why? Do you still feel fatigue?0

I was going to say more water
Also, maybe eat some iron supplement for a while, like Blutsaft or what is available where you are? I easily get low iron levels (which, if you get it checked -dehydration can give you incorrect higher numbers, I was told), especially when lowering my calories and in Spring for some reason.

I found that I'm still sleepy in the a.m. I have to have coffee now to wake up.. Exercising helps me wake up as well.. On days I'm really tired I'll take Vitamin B-12 time release and it has dramatically helped me.0

How many calories are you on per day? When I first started (total newb to everything) I was at about 1300 or under, I was tired all the time and couldn't concentrated, I posted on a friends wall and he ran my numbers for me and I found out I should be eating around 1500-1600 per day. I started a multi-vitamin and an omega 369 and I feel so much better.0
