ok I know thanksgiving is a time to eat. But I was planning on being good. Well what I planned on and what really happened were 2 totally different things. To start things off it was thanksgiving. and second we made an unplanned trip to texas. From tennessee to texas its anout a 13 hour drive. Well we didn't leave til 730 thursday night. So we visited for 25 hours and drove for 26 hours which I had to eat on the run and eat not very healthy choices. I gained 5 pounds from thursday to sunday.    If I have to mark down that I gained on biggest loser this week I will be so upset, but it will be my first time gaining, so I guess thats good
But I am back on real good today. I have drank already 10 glasses of water and its only 2 and I have eaten real good today. I even did 200 crunches and 25 jumping jacks.

Darling....don't beat yourself up.
Life happens, to all of us at some point.
A lot of your "gain" is probably fluid retention from sodium, carbonation (if you drank soda), and a change in activity (you were probably doing more sitting then a normal day).
Take a deep breathe.....relax....and think you only have 3 1/2 weeks til Christmas!
I planned on being "good" for Thanksgiving too. Didn't happen. I did beat myself a bit about it. Then I thought....it's Thanksgiving...I am stressed out....and my family is here....I did horrible...gaining a lb and all.
It just shows me I have work to do....and that my family could use some work too. I made the choices for what I consumed and today....I am okay with that. However, I know where I need to work on. :flowerforyou:

let it go... you had a rough time, all your plans got weigh-layed (tee hee). You did the best you cud. Im willing to bet that those five pounds drop right back off in a couple days. I know, becuase i went to savannah for work and they fed us 24/7 --- and i gained TEN pounds. two weeks later, it was all gone bye bye. don't sweat it, you've gotten right back on and that's the best ANY of us can do!!!!!:happy:0

I'm betting at least 2lbs of that is water weight.
Don't stress it. Lesson learned. Try to plan better IF the situation permits next time. The situation doesn't always permit though, and life happens. Don't stress it.
Today's a new day. You're already getting in the water and exercise.
You're back on your way. :flowerforyou:0 -
I agree...I bet it's water weight. Give it two days of being back on track and eating well and it'll fall off.0

Hey!! Look at how much weight you've lost so far... a few days of eating well and exercising and you will be mentally right back on track! Which is really 90% of the battle, be gentle with yourself. You're doing well.0

Look at what you've done so far - don't beat yourself up - getting back to it shows how much progress you've made!

Since this is about what you're going to be doing for the rest of your life, just relax and know that sometimes you are going to overeat. Thin people overeat sometimes. Just not all the time!! I was watching thin people eating at the several big Thanksgiving meals where I was and every one of them ate at least as much as I did (and I ate whatever I wanted.)
It's about the choices you make over the long term, not the odd weekend here & there. If you never loosen up and eat "fun" food you will end up feeling so deprived that you will just chuck the whole thing and give up. Plus, I think the occasional high-calorie day/days keep your metabolism guessing.
The important thing is that you are back on track! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:0 -
thanks everyone for the encouragements thats what I needed0

That is wonderful doing all those crunches and all. I am so impressed!! I only wish I could do that good. Don't get down just do what you are doing, getting back on track really quick, it sounds like you are doing fine. I hope you have a great day!0

Familygirl!! i did the same thing... so mad at myself... but ya know what - can't change the past. I am just moving forward! I get on the scale tomorrow to see the damage I have done. And YOU should be proud of what you have lost so far!:flowerforyou:0

I always retain extra water when I am sitting in my car for the day, so I can imagine what you retained in 13 hours!!
Today is another day. You have lost 50+ pounds!! Pat yourself on the back!:flowerforyou:0
