    I would personally start shopping around so you know THE dress you want but I wouldn't order anything until January or February when you have a better idea of what size you will be :).

    DITTO! This is what I did. i got married in July. Started looking for the style I wanted in October. I bought it in April one size too small at that time. So in October I was wearing a 12, but by April I was in an 10. So, I bought a 8 and it fit perfectly. I tried the dress on every two weeks and got it cleaned the week before wedding.

    I am getting married in 7 months and have already purchased my dress. I decided it would be safer to purchase a dress in my current size and just have it altered than to add the extra stress of ordering a dress and hoping I fit into it months later.
