Heart rate monitors and Weighing scales

I could not find out a suitable category for these two questions...
Can anyone suggest an affordable and accurate HRM.
I use Noom and CardioRunner on my phone when I walk or run, unfortunately I can't use it for my other exercises like kickboxing etc coz am pretty much "stationary" and the phone is also too bulky.
I need something that can measure heartrate, calories lost and steps at least.
Second does anyone else here have a HealthSmart Glass Electronic Body Fat/ Weight Scale?
I got one as a birthday gift unfortunately I have not been able to use it.
Every time I step on it, it goes off and does not display my weight or the rest of the info.
The pamphlet it comes with is useless!

I have a Polar FT4 that I'm very pleased with. Was amazed how far out the calorie burn estimates are on the MFP website.0

Polar ft4 or ft7 are both very reliable.0

HRM
I know everyone loves polar and they are the best my boyfriend has gone through 2 over the years (he likes to upgrade) but I didn't want a polar because I don't want to have to send off to change the battery (though the newest model you don't have to) and I didn't want to spend a crazy amount of money so I did some research and found very favorable reviews for the New Balance N4 Heart Rate Monitor. So that's what I decided to go with and to save even more I ended up buying mine on ebay for $31 including the shipping and so far I love it!! It was new and I got a really good deal...
Scale
I have heard good things about the Taylor model 7506... my old one is about to die and this is the one I am going to buy to replace it.
Hope this helps!!0
