Gaining?

I weighed myself again, which might have something to do with this. The first day I was 87kg. The second day I was 86kg. The third day I didn't weight myself, and today I'm 87.9kg.
Should I just wait longer to weigh myself, or am I actually doing something wrong?

Don't weigh yourself daily, it's setting yourself up for disappointment, lol. Your weight can fluctuate up or down 2lbs within a 24-48hr period. Weigh yourself once a week0

Same!
I normally only weigh once a week but this week I thought I'd start weighing everyday just as a test to see how much I actually fluctuate.
Saturday - 86kg
Didn't weigh Sunday - Tuesday
Wednesday - 84.8kg (YEAH!)
Thursday - 84.9kg
Friday - 85.8kg
So think I'll be sticking to 1 day a week lol.0 -
Men's and women's bodies cycle water retention so you need to wait at least 3 or 4 days between weighings.0

I DO prefer to weigh in every day, but (and here's where I reveal what a geek I am) I track it in an excel spreadsheet with a graph that averages my weight for the past 10 days. I've heard it can take up to 10 days for what you eat today to be reflected on the scales. By looking only at my 10-day average weight, I can tell if I'm trending up or down, and it negates all the crazy water weight changes that occur on a daily basis.0
