Lately I found myself doing things that my old self would do-( not workout much and eat fast foods ) :grumble:
just becoming saggy sack of excuses and selfpity justification.
So , last night in BIG LETTERS ON A BRIGHT YELLOW SHEET OF PAPER, I wrote down my goals and the reasons why I want to lose weight and lead a healthier life.
It's now stuck behind my bedroom door where I can see it clearly . Now i need one for the bathroom door!
I'm a very private person:noway: so if someone comes in and sees it ...I'll shock them:sick: ....LOL
Any wacky ideas??

I printed a picture of Mila Kunis in a bikini (who makes my boyfriend audibly gasp), next to a picture of me in a swimsuit and posted it on the wall in front of my treadmill. He has zero complaints about me now, but still it reminds me of the reaction I'd like to get from him.0

Goals are soooo important and that's great that you did that so you can see it everyday. I have notes everywhere especially the fridge. I also put my goals on the fridge too. I even bought some of those kids magnetic alphabet letters and spell things out on the fridge. I change it all the time. For instance, right now it says "you can do it". Keeps me positive and motivated especially if I decide I want something not healthy lol. You can do this!!! Just remember that goals without a date are just wishes so set a date for when you want to hit certain goals and if you don't hit them all, just re-set them:) Good luck!!!
Sorry I didn't have anything wacky lol:)0 -
i have a white board in my hallway part of my livingroom with messages, my goal weight, things i like to focus on written on it. stuck to it are four hot pink post-it notes with daily affirmations. also hanging off the board (with magnets ) are my daily menu and a 4 page document that i wrote when i first started. the first page is two lists, why i'm afraid to lose weight. why i should be fearless. the fearless list is 4 times as long. the second page is, why i dont want to lose weight and why i do want to lose weight. again, do want to is 5 times as long as the dont want to. the next two pages is a rambling message i wrote to myself about doing it, going to the gym and how absolutely crappy the chips i was eating at the time tasted and made me feel. I read those pages at least once a month and any time i lose focus. (there are also two post-it notes on my bathroom mirror and two on my printer right next to my computer). Before, I would have scoffed at doing all this stuff, but i decided to give it a try. It works. It's kept me going, i've lost 53 lbs so far and it'll keep me going for the next year while i lose another 115 lbs.0

I think it's great how you wrote everything down for you to read whenever you need to. I think I need to write a few pages myself. This journey is more than just losing weight.
All of you ladies ...keep up the good work and thank you for your tips =D0 -
Since I have roomates , I can't really post anything elsewhere. It's even hard to find enough room in the fridge for my veggies...lol
they have cake , pizza ..etc...
So for now I can only post things in my bedroom and will do in my car as well0
