I have alot of posts in favor of the Polar F4 HRM. I have never purchased a HRM. Would the Polar F4 be a good HRM for spinning, water aerobics, and swimming laps.

I just got the FT4 and it says it cam be used for swimming. It's also really easy to set up and get started.0

It's probably the best entry level hrms. It should be fine for both cycling and swimming.0

I wouldn't swim w/my polar. They are water resistant, but I don't think the chest straps are made to immerse. Aquapulse is a waterproof heart rate monitor that is made for swimming and it clips to the ear to get the pulse rate. Might be worth looking into.0

You can swim with Polar. They have gaskets built in to work with it and the strap usually works better wet than dry.0 -
