I didn't lose any weight this week despite eating well and working out regularly.

Surprisingly I am ok with this, a few weeks ago I would of been distraught - I suppose you win some you lose some! lol

Looking at your diary you seemt o be quite a lot of calories under on several days last week, so it may be that you aren't eating enough?

I would try to get a bit closer to your calories each day.

No loss is frustrating (it's taken me 3 months to lose a lb - but I have stopped smoking and I am so very near to goal weight so I am cool with it taking a while)

You sound like you have a good mentality though - we are not here for the short haul?

We didn't gain weight overnight so we certainly won't lose it overnight!

I feel frustrated everytime I step on the scales, but then feel motivated to work harder and eat better:-)

Don't worry about it...the week is over and you have a whole new week in front of you. Do the best you can do!!! Don't let one week get you down. You didn't gain weight and you didn't give up. That's what is important. Look over your food diary from this week and, if necessary, go back to a food diary of a particularly successful week and copy it for the upcoming week and see how you do!

Lol - its because I am not convinced I burn as much calories as MFP says thats why I don't fully eat them all some exercises are hard to gauge like body pump, or legs bums and tums so I try and enter in a generic number

as you train you will build muscle and burn fat, quite often the scales wont show a change, try and go of weekly measurements rather than scales

i did measure my waist and it hasnt changed, although I ma not even sure where my waist is! I thought it was round my belly button but someone said its the point where your waist goes in and mine is slightly higher than my belly button

It happened to me too that some weeks you don't lose any weight and the next week you lose a lot, so don't worry for as long as you are not gaining. Great job so far on your weight loss :-)

I am new to this journey and was addicted to my scale. I got on it everyday! Yesterday I gained weight for no good reason. Needless to say, I was in a terrible mood. Well, my husband hid my scale from me while I was at work - can you believe that!!! I'm feeling a bit panicked about it but just have to take it a day at a time. If his words hold true, I won't be weighing myself but once a month! Perhaps I'll find that scale :)

As I posted on your wall, trry not to focus too much on the scales. I have been stuck for months but I didn't give up, just keep being active and eating well and I know you will see progress. You don't have much to lose so it sometimes can be a little harder but I know you will get there.

p.s - you should take 2 measurements one through your belly button and one around your natural waist which is where your waist goes in.
