I was wonder if anyone had PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and if so have you noticed a change with your weight lose and have do you have any success stories?

  • I don't, HOWEVER, I have met many ladies on this site who do. I do a paleo /primal way of eating as a way to deal with my own health problems and a lot of gals who I've met on the threads for paleo use that life style as a way to deal ith PCOS and seem to have success with it.

paleo/primal lifestyles have to do with giving up sugar, grain, dairy, legumes (to simplify it).

like I said, I can't speak from personal experience with PCOS, but it has seemed to really help others, so I'd research into it if I were you.

    good luck :)

If you plug "PCOS" into the search feature here on the message boards you will find there are many fellow PCOS'ers here on MFP, myself included.

While it is difficult, weightloss is very possible with PCOS. Some have lost significant amounts, and others are well on their way. MFP is a great tool for watching what you eat, and tracking your exercise - *daily* exercise if at all possible.

    All the best!
