I am wondering if anyone has tried eating saffron as an appetite suppressant. A friend told me that it is good for this purpose, as well as a natural antidepressant. It is very expensive though...

I'd rather cook with it. It's worth it's weight in gold pretty much. It's so expensive because it has to be hand picked. Not worth it IMHO.0

Spice in general is supposed to be an appetite suppressant, I'd stick with eating hot peppers.0

Saffron is so expensive I'd hate to waste mine for anything other than a yummy meal! I use a cinnamon oil as an appetite suppressant. I put it right on my chest so not only do I know want to eat, I smell really good0
