NYC Beginner Running Buddy?

Hey! I'm an Upper East Sider looking for a newbie running buddy for some co-motivation. I was thinking maybe 1x a week, 2x max we could meet up at Central Park for a walk/run. Right now I can jog for about 4 minutes then walk for 1-2 then jog again. Was thinking of starting on the reservoir and then moving to the larger loops. Message me if you're interested.

I uhm.. I jog like a pansy... but I.. maybe.
Edit: I'm a lower east sider who recently quit her job. I talked to another friend of mine about jogging in Central park and we just.. never did it.0 -
Might just be a bit far to go to help out as I live in London, but when I next get back to Manhatten (on the average once every two years) I'll try the jog/walking in Central Park!
Finally, let me know how you get on and also the motto of the RAF...per ardua ad astra...

Hi slimdownspice! Been looking for a running buddy recently and you seem to be a sweet outgoing person to run with. I will have to warn you that I am very out-of-shape at the moment. But I'm great at pushing through and motivation. I'm that person who talks to herself on the treadmill just to hold on for those 2 extra minutes, while everyone else is wondering whether I'm crazy or not (chuckles). The reservoir seems like a great place to train due to the surroundings and so I think it will also be very therapeutic. But do you run in the Autumn/Winter also? If so I'm available MWFSS at anytime. If you are still looking for someone. Please don't hesitate to shoot me an e-mail or reply
