Attention from the opposite sex

After being somewhat invisible to the opposite sex, I am noticing alot more attention. Today, a guy, who I haven't seen in years, but am facebook friends with, sent me pictures of himself and suggested he had a crush on me. (child hood friend.) I have to say I am not sure how to handle this new attention. I still am waiting for the punch line. (which in the past was normally at my expense.)
