just wondered if i should measure myself as well as my weigh in.I havnt so far but what if I hit a bad week and dont lose any weight would the tape measure show something in a week that the scales could not.Not really sure about that, isnt measuring a more longer distance thing than a week so would it be any help to my despondancy if i have a poor weigh in.Just hoping people can shed some light on it opinions please

I haven't lost any weight, but I have lost inches every week for the last three weeks.0

A tape measure costs about $1. Well worth the investment. I've dropped 10 pounds and 5 inches off my waist in the last 30 days.0

I would measure!! I have dropped inches while stuck in a plateau and it is REALLY encouraging. Sadly, my plateaus usually last 3 weeks so it's nice to see the progress in other places.0

Yes yes yes yes. I do both. And while some weeks you might not lose weight on the scale, you could be losing inches. Gaining muscle, losing fat.0

Not necessarily. I lost a quarter inch to a whole inch in areas in 4 days of the 30DS.0

DEFINTELY measure ASAP!!! This will encourage you greatly!0

I measure once a week at the same time I weigh..... even when the weight loss is slow, I still always seem to lose inches every week. I highly recommend measuring!0

YES! Measure! The scale hates me but I've lost inches0

Definitely use both! You will hit a plateau at some point with your weight loss, but if you continue to see a change in your measurements it will keep you going.0

measuring rocks! i started it myself today0

Definitely measure! I only measure once a month so I can get excited over it rather than labor whether or not it is a real loss or if I measured wrong. lol0

thanks for all your input I will get that measure out tonight lol0
