How should I treat this next week?

Tomorrow my little boys and I are driving to Ohio for a week, to visit my parents. My mom has already made some of our meals in a crockpot...no idea how to measure that....and I won't have the gym. Just walking/maybe a couple of runs. Should I move my calories to maintenance for this next week? Move it to lightly active since I'm sure we will be going around and doing a lot of things. Keep things the same? I'm so used to eating back hundreds of exercise calories, that I'm not sure how to approach this. Especially with the food being already prepared. Suggestions? Thanks!

I would leave it the same. YOu just won't have all those extra calories to eat back. It actually might do your body some good to not be exercising so much, and then not eating so much. Good luck! and have fun!0

As far as logging the food, you can put in the name of the dish your mom fixes and see if you can find something comparable to it.0

Just guess on the food and not be too worried about it being completely off. Do the best you can on staying under your diet. Don't stress too much. Maybe a week off from all the hard work you do will be good for you. I took 3 days off last week and on my first workout back I had a TON of extra energy.0

I was just at a work function for a week and I was clueless as to how to enter in all the food they served. I ate good for all the meals (and had and ice cream sundae every night) but I made sure that I got on the treadmill, elliptical, or went for long walks every day.
I actually lost a pound. So my advice is use the knowledge that you have gained to make good portion decisions (allowing yourself some treats), and make sure you get some activity.
