when i get really emotional, and get really stressed. i eat....i think that's why i eat so much. when i get really stressed, or when i fight with an ex, and get hurt, i eat.
how do i stop eating all the time when that's what i turn to for comfort?

Turn to exercise instead! It's totally worked for me.0

You simply cut out the stressful moments of your life.. If there is no stress, you odn`t overeat.0

Knowing it is the first step. Stress eating can be a tough habit to break, no doubt about it. I learned to substitute other behaviors for the eating though, and that's worked quite well. Now when I'm stressed I want to exercise!!
Try different things to see what works for you. Talk to friends. Write. Dive into a hobby. Go for a long brisk walk or jog. Get some "worry beads" and wear them outJust find an alternative to self-soothing with calories.
