Yeah for me! This is great. I was expecting to see no real change on the scale and there it was.....
3 pounds gonein 4 days of dieting. I am following what the sight tells me. I know that this might be too fast but I think it's going to slow down after a while.
Tell me what you all think. I'd like to hear.
Thanks, ~Mel

the first 2 weeks are usually a lot of weight loss :blushing:
well done, it will slow to about 1-2 lbs a week, which is what you want :drinker:

You can lose up to 15 pounds or more (depending on how much you weigh to start) just in "water weight." Meaning, retained fluid, glycogen storage, etc. I think I lost like 20 pounds my first month.
Good job--keep it up--but don't get depressed when it slows because it will. Just expect it and now that 1-2 pounds is a GREAT rate of loss.0 -
Wow! Good job! :flowerforyou:
Yes, usually the first week is a good loss.....but for me, it was just the boost I needed to keep going. Sure the following weeks might not have been quite as big, but they were steady and the healthy losses added up FAST!!
Keep up the excellent work! :drinker:

Congrats darlin:) I don't know about early on because I was not doing it right. I was not eating my exercise calories. Now I am losing fairly regularly. For me, the scale is not all that reliable if I use it too often. When I weigh, I will do it naked and early in the a.m. Same thing with the tape measure. I can tell you I believe with my whole heart, if we stay here, listen to those who've gone before us, their experience and their success, we can't do anything but win:bigsmile:
a fitness pal, denise:)Yeah for me! This is great. I was expecting to see no real change on the scale and there it was.....

Just remember...the weight that takes the longest to lose will be the weight that stays off!!
Good job on the 3 lbs - I've only lost 11 lbs so far, but have lost like 8-9 inches and it feels great to fit back into some of my old clothes again and starting to see muscle definition again.
It might seem hard to stay within your daily calories - but in a month from now you'll be searching for something else to eat because you haven't eaten enough!
Welcome to MFP!! :happy:0
