Dizzy Dizzy Dizzy

Hello all, I have noticed when doing the yoga and pilates video I get very dizzy from moving all around (standing to bending etc) Has anyone else experienced this, is it something that will get better as my body gets used to it? I can probably blame it on my MS and perhaps the sinus infection I have but I was hoping someone else has experienced it.

    Sounds to me like it's your MS and/or your sinus infection. Have you spoke to your rheumatologist about whether or not it's okay for you to do yoga and pilates? I can't imagine why it wouldn't be, but it's a good idea to talk to a specialist about dizziness with exercise, especially with a condition like MS.

    If you are sick the dizziness could be caused from your blood pressure/blood sugar. The lowering and rising motion might be causing it to dip in either high or low causing the dizziness. I wouldn't worry unless it starts happening after you get over your infection.

    Also if you are on antibotics for the sinus infection this can also cause you to become dizziness rising and lowering (as it stated on the prescription information)

    I sometimes get a little dizzy if I'm bending over and raise too quickly. I think its just the very quick movement that does it for me.

    If I go from lying down to sitting up too quickly or from sitting to standing too quickly, I can actually have moments where everything goes black and I have to stand or sit there for a minute to let it pass. I discovered that I have low blood pressure and this will happen if I haven't consumed enough salt. Also found out that I have MVP (mitral valve prolapse) and that can contribute to this problem as well. So, I'd just get it checked out. On the up side, I get to have as many salty snacks as I want when working out. :)

    Salty snacks :) My BP is somewhere around 110/70 so not low but not too high. When I was pregnant it dropped down to the 90's over the 60's so they made me really up my salt intake and they actually told me to initiate some stress in my life. lmao

    I will call the doc on monday and see what she has to say, you guys are probably right though, I never even thought about the antibiotic, since it is a new one for me your right that is one of the side effects I'll have to mention it.
