When people comment on topics and they say almost exactly what a previous poster said. I'm not talking about the delay of the internet when people are clearly typing at the same time or when someone posts that they agree with what other people have already said. I'm talking about the people who are too lazy to read what has been said before them.

Here's a rule - if the topic is longer than two pages, there's a really good chance that what you want to say has already been said. If you're too lazy to read back to find out whether or not you have an original idea or answer, just don't post!!

    Well Said, Here Here, I agree, and a bunch of other different words, all meaning the same thing.

    I find this to be very annoying too. Just because someone has an opinion that another doesn't agree with, they suggest that the poster is having a bad day. Don't patronize me. I'm having a wonderful day so far, I just have an irritation that I decided to share. I hope you have a good day too, and unlike you, I don't mean to patronize.

    I think it's good when people agree wth others, it's like conformation that they might actually be right.

    I actually don't find that annoying. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and just because someone else voiced theirs first, doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to add their input.

    For instance, if I'm asking a question, say... about how much protein I should be eating, I'd rather people who have knowledge about that post repeatedly, all saying the same thing, than have one person tell me the right answer, then five other people giving me different wrong answers.

    So basically you are saying that what other people feel might help someone is not worth them posting just because someone already said it?

    Here's a hint, if it's a repeat skip that post, you don't have to read every single one of them.

    For some people hearing or seeing the same thing repeated helps, just because you get it the first time doesn't mean everyone does.

    I find it annoying that other people complain about how others post.

    I think that these forums are OPEN for a reason... so that anyone can answer as they please, even if someone else has said the exact same thing. Sometimes it is just nice to see that 105 people all feel the same way you do... and sometimes people just want to chime in even if someone else has said the same thing they have.

    You don't have to read every single entry. And, here's the other thing. You don't have to read every single entry.

    My personal pet peeve about the forums---from experience--is when people are downright mean on them. But they're sly enough about it to not get moderated.

    I like the ones where 20 people just read the post title and not the post. There was one last week where someone who doesn't run needed advice on what to wear on the elliptical. What followed was three pages telling him to go to a specialist running shop to have his running analysed and then they'd give him advice on what to purchase.

    Ha ha - were you too lazy to read my post? I'm fooling you by the way. BUT - I did say, I think it's okay when people agree with others and I also do appreciate when someone who clearly has experience adds to the discussion. But I also think it's very obvious when someone just blindly posts and they haven't read the posts before them.

    Wow - you guys are killing me. Not to mention making me feel like an *kitten*. All I was saying was that I think people should put the work in and read the posts!! Sheesh.

    Yea, I did read it. That's what I got from it though. I do find 100 people saying 1 thing rather long to sift through too, but I understand how it happens.
