LOW SUGAR CONTENT?

I always feel like the foods I eat are pretty healthy, but somehow I'm almost always over my sugar limit. What kinds of foods do you like to eat that have low sugar content? I love bananas but seeing as they have approximately 14g of sugar per serving, I might have to lay off!

One thing you do is do a web/Google search for Glycemic index. This doesn't help so much with sugar but will help steer you towards healthier carbohydrate sources. I've seen some good ones out there but unfortunately I didn't bookmark them.

edit: Low glycemic index carbs will typically have more fiber and less sugar than high glycemic index carbs.

Fruit does have a lot of sugar but you can't get a better sugar then that. I eat a banana every day and grapes when they go on sale well I eat fruit a lot. After reading what I wrote I'm no help to you at all sorry

Fruit is an okay sugar but unfortunately at some point sugar is just sugar and you do need to control your carb intake and try to redirect to some better carb sources.
