I went and had my blood pressure taken the other day....the reason why I started the weight loss was i was told the ol blood pressure was too high and I was just about to be put on medication. But this time it was NORMAL and not to come back for 6 months!!! Wooohoo! They still have to make sure my glucose levels are ok which is next month so fingers crossed for that!!

that's great! I also have blood pressure issues and I'm interested to see what it will be at my next doctor's appointment. It's one of my main goals to keep it in the normal range like it used to be. Way to go! :)

Yahy! that is great avoid them meds. I can't wait to get off my blood pressure meds. I had to increase them in June because the dose didn't seem to be working. I sort of think its the pill not working at all for me. But the NP I saw didn't seem to want to try a new whole med like my Dr. had said before she was on maternity leave. This dose seems to have lowed my diastolic finally but my systolic was still over 140(at 149 Thursday). But I believe my bp med is making me have a lot of anxiety and it has led to panic attack from over reacting to a lot of things that never bother me at all in the past. :(

I do weight loss of about 40 lbs will lower it for me. It came on bad in pregnancy went away when I lost some weight but came back as I gained it back.
