If I am using 5lb hand weights, does that mean I list 5 lbs per rep or 10?

5lbs per rep unless you are holding both weights in one hand.0

I thought about it as I was working out. If you are using hand weights for squats or lunges or for the chest then you would add the weight. ex: squats with a 5lb weight in each hand would actually be squats with 10 lbs.0

That makes sense and what I thought. Thanks!0
